Rachel R. Mueller

Rachel R. Mueller of Hustisford passed away after a courage battle with ovarian cancer Wednesday June 18, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 58 years. She was born April 9, 1956 in Watertown the daughter of Palmer and Bernice (nee Kollath) Kirchoff. She married Scott Mueller December 15, 1973. Rachel was a charter member of Sinissippi Suzies Duck’s Unlimited, a 35-year member of Hustisford Auxiliary Fire Dept., worked for the Fire Dept. maintenance cleaning crew for many years and worked for Radloff Cheese Company for 28 years. Recently she worked for St. John’s in Mayville day care. Rachel was active in several church activities at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church where she was a long-time member. Rachel was an avis eivis fan, and enjoyed nature and like taking long walks on the family farm. Rachel loved her family and the activities and memories that went along with family gatherings. She rode on the back of Scott’s HARLEY for 43 years. She will be deeply missed. Rachel is survived by her loving husband Scott and her loving children Shelly (Chad) Persha of Mayville and Shannon (Chanda) Mueller of Hustisford. Also survived by her dear grandchildren Mason, Paige and Dylan Persha, Brady and Sierra Mueller. Dear sister of Kristine (Arland) Kluewer, Ronald (Jennifer) Kirchoff, Rebecca (Raymond) Peplinski, Linda (Kevin) Will, all of Hustisford, and Pauline (Daniel) Quest of Missouri, her mother-in-law Loraine (nee Schindelhauer) Mueller. Also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her grandson Wade Persha, her parents and her brother Richard, her father-in- law Marlin Mueller, her brother-in-law Todd Mueller and nephew Mark Quest. Visitation is Sunday June 22, 2014 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church from 2 - 4:45 PM. Rev. Timothy Bauer will officiate. Funeral service will follow at 5 PM at church. Interment Monday at Hustisford Cemetery at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
