Jean A. Ninmann

Jean A. Ninmann, of Hustisford passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Hartford on February 2, 2012, following a short illness at the age of 76 years. Born May 12, 1935 in Hustisford, to Hubert and Edna (Brazelton) Falkenthal. Jean graduated from Hustisford High School and married Howard Ninmann on February 4, 1953. They would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this year. Jean was a life-long resident of Hustisford. She worked as a homemaker, a retail clerk at Zuelsdorf's Drug Store, and a secretary at Associate Engineering. Jean was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Hustisford, where she was a member of the women’s group, choir, and where she served as a part-time organist and the parish treasurer for many years. Over the years, she was also active in the Ladies' Auxiliary of Legion Post 420 in Hustisford and played regularly in a 500 card club. Jean enjoyed canning vegetables and was affectionately known as the “pickle lady”. She baked and shared her goodies with family and friends. Jean especially looked forward to holidays with her family and taking long walks around town on warm, sunny days to visit with acquaintances along the way. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Yvonne Zuelsdorf and her nephew Jerry Zuelsdorf. She is survived by her loving husband, Howard Ninmann, of Hustisford, her loving children Ricky (Gayla) Ninmann, of Hartford and Jill (Dennis) Anderson of Hustisford. Also surviving are her precious grandchildren Jena (Barry) Anderberg of Minnesota, Rhiannon (Dan) Berger of Minnesota, Lani (Jason) Rupaner of Milwaukee, Amy (Steven) Erato of Wauwatosa, Jacob (Heidi) Anderson of Hustisford, Evan Anderson of Milwaukee, Joel (Fiancee Bridget Pressentin) Ninmann of Middleton, and her great grandchildren, Graham, Owen and Leah. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation is Monday, February 6, 2012 from 4-7 pm at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Hustisford and Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 10-11 am at church. Funeral service will follow at 11 am at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Hustisford. Rev. Sheila Rawn will officiate. Interment Hustisford Cemetery. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home – Hustisford is serving the family.
